On Friday 19 February, Dan Smith, SIPRI Director, and Renata Dwan, Deputy Director of Chatham House, gave an informal briefing on 'conflict futures' to the 15 UN Security Council Permanent Representatives at a meeting hosted by the United Kingdom Mission to the UN in New York.
SIPRI is pleased to launch a new video series on perceptions on nuclear challenges in South Asia featuring experts from India, Pakistan, Russia and the United States.
SIPRI and NUPI have agreed to a three-year cooperation with funding from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The aim of the collaboration is to inform the United Nations Security Council about climate-related security and development risks for selected countries and regions on the council’s agenda.
