Humanitarian Protection in the Liptako-Gourma Region (2020–2022): Local Protection and Humanitarian Mechanisms

As part of the research programme Humanitarian Protection in the Liptako-Gourma region, these infographics summarize the main findings of the research, which seeks to understand the impact of humanitarian protection programmes implemented in the Liptako-Gourma region. They offer a snapshot of the links between local protection and humanitarian protection mechanisms and provide an overview of the threats, risks and vulnerabilities affecting the local populations. The quantitative and qualitative data was collected from a representative sample of populations in Burkina Faso (Nord and Sahel regions), Mali (Mopti region) and Niger (Tillabéri region) in August and September 2020 and in June and July 2021.
