Shourjya Deb is a Senior Researcher in the Sahel and West Africa Programme. He is responsible for research design, monitoring of sampling and data collection, data analysis and data visualization. Shourjya takes a keen interest in descriptive and inferential statistics and in engaging with different tools of data management and visualization. He has previously worked as a graduate assistant at Rutgers University and has experience of fieldwork in urban slums and conflict areas in India.
