Dr Lora Saalman, Director of SIPRI's China and Global Security Programme, talked to Swedish Radio about cyberwarfare.
The radio programme 'Has the war already begun?' considered whether the future of warfare will be in cyberspace. It examined today's cybersecurity situation through examples of international cyberattacks, including the malicious software Stuxnet, responsible for damaging Iranian nuclear facilities, and the more recent cyberattack on the Dutch Safety Board in 2015.
The programme is in Swedish and also featured David Lindahl from FOI (Swedish Defence Research Agency) and Peter Jonegård from MSB (Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency).
