Jules Palayer

Jules Palayer is a Research Assistant in the SIPRI Governance of Artificial Intelligence Programme. His research focuses on emerging technologies and international security, particularly the peace and security risks posed by developments in artificial intelligence. His current work deals with the regulation of artificial intelligence and responsible innovation as an approach to technology governance.

Prior to joining SIPRI, he worked as a Junior Lecturer in Security Studies at the Institute of Security and Global Affairs in Leiden University. Jules graduated from King’s College London with a MA in Science and International Security.
