Nadine Andersen is a Research Assistant in the SIPRI Climate Change and Risk Programme. Her focus is on climate-related security challenges and multilateral peace operations. She holds an MSc in Human Security from Aarhus University and was awarded the Peace and Security Scholarship from the OSCE in 2023. Nadine's contributions extend beyond academia – as a NEVER network member at ELN, she contributes to discussions on existential risks. Prior to joining SIPRI, she worked at UNDP in Kenya, UNOPS in Denmark, and IUCN Asia.
