Madison Lipson

Madison was an intern with SIPRI's Arms and Military Expenditure Programme. She is assisting the team with collecting data in projects relating to the defence sector and space, and SIPRI's Top 100 Arms-producing and Military Services Companies.

She is currently an International Business Master’s student at the Universidad de Salamanca. Her research focuses on the effect reconciliation and peacebuilding has on domestic security in post-conflict states, with a specific interest in those considered 'developed', such as Spain and the UK-Northern Ireland.

Before joining SIPRI, Madison worked as a Program Management intern with General Dynamics Land Systems in Canada. Madison was also a Program and Events Assistant at the University of Western Ontario’s International Student center where she provided inclusive programming for international students on campus.
