Dr Karen Meijer

Dr Karen Meijer was a Senior Researcher in the SIPRI Climate Change and Risk Programme, specializing in international cooperation and development. Her primary interests include effectiveness of governance and international finance targeting sustainable and equitable use of natural resources.

Prior to joining SIPRI, Dr Meijer was affiliated with Deltares, where she led research on water, peace and security, and with the German Development Institute where she studied international actions to reduce deforestation.
