Caspar Trimmer

Caspar Trimmer joined SIPRI in September 2020. He is responsible for SIPRI’s timely and effective engagement with global debate through expert commentary and other online written materials. He plays an integral role in preparing communications for the Environment of Peace initiative.

Before coming to SIPRI Caspar was Science Writer and Editor at Stockholm Environment Institute between 2013 and 2020. Prior to that, he worked as an editor at SIPRI and as a writer, editor and researcher for organizations including Unicef, UNDP, Save the Children, FAO and the Regional Working Group on Child Labour, based in Thailand and China.
