    An article by Dr Mathieu Duchâtel entitled 'Tactical pause in China’s economic engagement with North Korea', was published in the Jamestown Foundation's China Brief.

  • 8–9 May, Groningen, The Netherlands
    Oliver Bräuner participated in 'East Asia and the European Union, strong Economics, weak Politics?', the launch conference for the Centre for East Asian Studies Groningen. Bräuner delivered a paper entitled 'Regional security in East Asia: maximizing the EU’s limited influence'.

    A review of SIPRI Yearbook 2013 appeared in the London School of Economics' Review of Books.

  • 16 May, SIPRI, Stockholm
    SIPRI's Macroeconomics of Security and Development Programme hosted Yasmin Sooka and members of the Stockholm civil society community for a briefing on sexual violence in post-conflict Sri Lanka.
