Stockholm (6 April 2017) Over 200 high-level policymakers, researchers and practitioners will gather in Stockholm on 3–4 May for the fourth annual Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development. Co-hosted by Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the 2017 Forum focuses on ‘what works’, and will identify good practice in peacebuilding and development.
Sessions topics include conflict prevention and renewed multilateralism, resilience to climate-related fragility, preventing violent extremism through peacebuilding, political corruption and organized crime, strategies for inclusive development and security and justice sector reform.
