National reports: Belgium - Regional Reports

In early 2003 the Belgian Government transferred licensing competence from the Federal Government to the three regional governments (Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia). Along with taking responsibility for granting export licences, the regional governments are now responsible for reporting on export licences and exports.

In late 2005, the Flemish regional government began publishing monthly reports on all approvals and denials of arms export, import and transshipment licences. The reports include information on the type and value of goods licensed, the recipient country and the type of end-user. These reports are available here
