Vera Grass

Vera Grass was an intern with the SIPRI Sahel and West Africa programme. She is mainly interested in perceptions of security and factors behind violent extremism.

Vera is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the Swedish Defence University, specializing in security and counterterrorism. Prior to SIPRI, she interned at the Swedish Embassy in Paris, focusing on foreign affairs in general and MENA in particular. At the embassy, she also conducted a research project on Islam in France.
