Sarah Burch

Sarah Burch was an intern for SIPRI’s Climate Change and Risk Programme, focusing on the international management of climate-related security risks and the linkages between climate change and violent conflict.

She is an undergraduate student at Pomona College in Claremont, California, where she is majoring in International Relations and minoring in Philosophy, with a particular focus in peace and conflict studies and post-conflict social and political rebuilding. She will study Post-Genocide Restoration and Peacebuilding in Kigali, Rwanda in the fall of 2019. Prior to SIPRI, Sarah interned as a correspondent for the Organization for World Peace.
