Pranav R. Satyanath was an intern in the SIPRI Nuclear Disarmament, Arms Control and Non-proliferation Programme. He works on issues related to anti-satellite weapons missile defenses and other emerging technologies. Pranav obtained his MSc degree in Strategic Studies from the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) in Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He was also a Student Research Assistant at RSIS.
Previously, he worked as a Research Analyst at the Takshashila Institution in India where his research focused on issues related to nuclear strategy, space policy and weapons of the future.
His research interests lie at the intersection of technology and policy. They include: arms control, nuclear strategy and the sociology and politics of technology.
