Hyunkyo Yu

Hyunkyo Yu is an intern in the SIPRI Climate Change and Risk Programme conducting research on the relationship between climate change and resource conflict. Hyunkyo is a Master’s degree candidate in Environmental Management from the Graduate School of Environmental Studies, Seoul National University, South Korea.

Before joining SIPRI, Hyunkyo worked as an intern in ICHARM (International Centre for Water Hazard and Risk Management under the auspices of UNESCO) in Japan. She has also worked as a volunteer for an environmental NGO called The Climate Reality Project.
