Geneva Call

Geneva Call <p>is one of the world’s leading organizations in the field of humanitarian engagement with ANSAs. Active in around 15 contexts worldwide, with offices in seven of them, it has developed a humanitarian engagement with over 150 ANSAs since the year 2000.</p>

<p>As a neutral, impartial and independent humanitarian organization, Geneva Call works to improve the protection of civilians in armed conflict and strengthen the respect for the law by ANSAs. During conflict, fighters must comply with the 'rules of war' as enshrined in international humanitarian law (and the Geneva Conventions in particular). Geneva Call engages ANSAs to encourage them to comply with the rules of war.</p>
