Dr Ori Swed

Dr Ori Swed is an Assistant Professor in the Sociology Department at Texas Tech University. He is also the Director of the Peace, War, & Social Conflict Laboratory, where he leads multiple research projects on new technologies and emerging security threats. His research focuses on the role of violent non-state actors in contemporary conflict settings, among them private military and security contractors and mercenaries.
