Dr Kate Blanchfield

Kate Blanchfield was the online editor at SIPRI. She worked with developing SIPRI's digital and visual communications and was responsible for the content of SIPRI's website. She created infographics and animations to promote SIPRI's research and produced the monthly newsletter, the SIPRI Update.

Kate joined SIPRI in December 2015 after working as a science journalist and editor of an academic journal.

She holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Stockholm University and a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Bristol.
