Laura Alina Fabich

Laura Fabich was an intern in the SIPRI Peace and Development Programme assisting in the knowledge partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP) and in the collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) with research focus on Gender. 

Laura is a board member and coordinator at the NGO Resqship, which is active on the Mediterranean Sea to help people that risk drowning in order to seek asylum in Europe and to document human rights violation in international waters. Previously, she worked as an intern at the Shankar Prasad Institute in Gokarna, India and at the organization RESQSHIP in Freiburg, Germany.
