Dr Vongai Murugani was a Researcher in the Food, Peace and Security Programme at SIPRI.
Vongai has worked as an Associate Consultant in an Agribusiness and Climate Change unit, where she worked on climate change and food security in Southern Africa. Prior to this she worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher on food security focusing on smallholder farming schemes, climate smart agriculture and market access in rural South Africa. She enjoys the complexity of transdisciplinary research and working in partnership with communities to make a difference.
