In September 2015, a new development agenda was enshrined in the SDGs. With an aim to leave no one behind, the 17 SDGs succeeded the Millennium Development Goals as the world’s agenda for development for the next 15 years. SDG16 will be reviewed in 2019 at the UN High-Level Political Forum.  SIPRI contributes to improve the measuring and monitoring of SDG indicators through the following research activities:
