SIPRI engaged in a high-level panel discussion on ‘Climate, Food Security and Conflict’. The event was co-hosted by the Permanent Missions of Germany and Guyana to the United Nations.

On 24 April, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) will host a webinar on ‘Addressing the Risk of AI Misuse: What Can the AI Community Learn From Best Practices in Biosafety and Biosecurity?’. The webinar will be co-hosted with the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs.

Earlier this month Stefan Löfven, Chair of the SIPRI Governing Board and former Swedish Prime Minister, visited Tokyo, Japan, for several events to foster SIPRI’s collaboration with different actors in the region.
